Digital literacy is the ability to use technology to find, evaluate, and create information. To be digital literate, you need to be able to do more than just use a computer or other digital devices. You need to be able to understand how the devices work, how to find and use information on the Internet, and how to create your own content.Most people use digital devices every day without really thinking about it. But if you stop and think about all of the different ways you use technology, it’s amazing! You might use a computer or smartphone to check the weather, get directions, buy a book, listen to music, or watch a movie. You might use a tablet or e-reader to read the news or read a book. And you probably use social media like Facebook or Twitter to keep in touch with friends and family.All of these activities require some level of digital literacy. To be able to do them, you need to be able to find information on the Internet, understand how electronic devices work, and know how to create your own content.
